Black Kyusu Yokode Teapot - 430ml

The Kyusu Yokode Teapot, crafted by Isobe Shoten in Japan, is a wonderful example of traditional Japanese teaware in a beautifully textured black design that combines aesthetics, functionality and craftsmanship.

The Kyusu is a traditional Japanese teapot known for its side handle. This design makes it easy to pour with one hand, which is ideal for the delicate process of brewing and serving Japanese green teas such as Sencha, Gyokuro, and Genmaicha. Its shape and size allow for the proper steeping of leaves, to impart the most flavour.

This size of teapot is designed to brew only two to three small cups of tea at a time and to empty the teapot so more hot water can then be added to the same leaves allowing you to enjoy perfectly-brewed, fresh tea each time.

This teapot has a beautiful built-in strainer at the spout, which prevents loose leaves from escaping into the cup.
