As an unpasteurised namazake, meaning it hasnât been heat-treated to stabilise it, this sake is young, bright and full of zesty flavour. It is also undiluted and has avoided the usual charcoal filtration, giving it a slightly textured, full-bodied character thatâs lively, bold and wonderfully expressive.
Snow Blossom offers a beautiful fragrance of red apple and melon, while the palate is light, fresh and zesty with hints of citrus. Itâs lovely to drink on its own but also pairs beautifully with fish, particularly oilier varieties like mackerel. Creamy dishes such as egg mayonnaise or cauliflower cheese are enhanced by its freshness, and itâs equally fabulous alongside a rich pĂątĂ©.
