Kenbishi Zuishou "Alchemy" - Yamahai Junmai Koshu Sake

With its striking golden hue, Alchemy is a masterful example of aged sake. Kenbishi has been perfecting the art of ageing and blending for centuries, maintaining around 300 large tanks of maturing sake at any given time. Alchemy is their most aged offering, crafted from a blend of sakes aged for at least five years - some for as long as two decades.

Made exclusively with 100% Toku A Yamada Nishiki, the finest rice from the best fields, Alchemy develops deep, rich and complex flavours over time. Expect luxurious notes of chocolate, caramel, butter, wood, nuts and dried fruits, all wrapped in a velvety texture with a long, indulgent finish. This is an accessible aged sake from true masters of the craft.

Alchemy is a superb dessert sake, pairing beautifully with bold flavours. It complements mature or blue cheese drizzled with truffle honey, game, foie gras, roasted nuts, pickles and Christmas pudding. Alternatively, enjoy it instead of a dessert for a refined and memorable finish to a meal.
